70 ct per day

One sponsorship. One life changed.

€ 21.25 per month – that is less than one coffee per week. For a child in Nigeria it means school, a future and hope.

The button opens an email to office@hifa.at – we will get back to you personally.

Worldwide, between 158 and 218 million children regularly work instead of going to school. In Nigeria, many families simply see no other option – not out of indifference, but because the school fees are simply not there. With a HIFA child sponsorship you can change this concretely for a specific child.

Frequently asked questions about sponsorship

What exactly does my sponsorship finance?
Your monthly € 21.25 flows directly into school fees, learning materials and – where needed – the child’s basic care. HIFA project staff on site ensure that the child actually attends school and that the support arrives.
Can I write to my sponsored child or send a picture?
Yes! Many of our sponsors exchange letters, pictures and greetings with their sponsored child – arranged through the HIFA office. Contact us after starting your sponsorship, and we will gladly organise the connection.
How long does a sponsorship last?
Ideally, a sponsorship lasts until the child finishes school. However, you can cancel at any time – we will then look for a successor sponsor, so that the child is not suddenly left without support.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
In Austria, yes. HIFA is registered with the Austrian tax office under no. SO 1527. Since 2017, HIFA transmits donation data automatically to the Ministry of Finance (name, date of birth, annual payment). For allocation, we need your date of birth.
