The vocational training centre WAKISO Vocational Centre Entebbe (WVCE)
in Uganda gives young people something that is missing in many African countries:
a real vocational education with which they can build their own business.
HIFA has supported this centre with tools, equipment and personal commitment.

From the end of December 2021 to the end of January 2022, Johann Schill was personally on site in Uganda.
He handed over the HIFA amount to the WAKISO centre under director Paul Nzimuli
and inspected every single purchase for usefulness and quality.
This is not a bureaucratic process – this is personal responsibility.
What the €3,500 was concretely used for

Next step: agricultural project
DI Festus Imarhiagbe, HIFA project officer for agriculture,
held preparatory empowerment workshops in Entebbe in February 2022
and is examining further cooperation with an agricultural project for WAKISO.
